For the Love of Automobiles – Tucker Torpedo Story

Tucker_BlackhawkAutoMuseum The Tucker Sedan, known to automobile enthusiasts as the “Tucker Torpedo” was built by Preston Tucker produced in Chicago in the year 1948. It was advanced beyond the period of which it was built being the first automobile that had good gas mileage and built with safety in mind and other features listed below. Only 51 Tuckers were made before the factory closed its doors on March 3rd, 1949.
