From My Desk – Random Thoughts in Cyberspace
Random thoughts on this wintry day, December 16th 2007, and scanning cyberspace for interesting news and ideas to write about, et cetera. We had some light snow showers, “just a dusting” as we say here on the Peninsula, and now at 10:30 AM the sign has uncovered itself from the clouds.
One of my favorite places to visit in cyberspace is Pirate’s Cove, initially checking it out when I was researching my pirate article a while back. Of which I must continue with Part II sometime. (I have the link listed on my bookmark blogroll listing under “Fellow Patriots”.
The header at the Pirate’s Cove is great, and includes a Christmas tree for the season. And, the Sunday Pinup, reminiscent of the World War II Pinup Girls that provided some beauties to be hung up wherever they were serving, as well as artwork on the famous warplanes of the period.
