QUAERE VERITAS IN SALUM SUBJECTIO

Untying the Knots of Political Deceptions and Chicanery

Religion seems to be a forefront lately in the presidential candidacy than any other issue – when there are issues to be addressed, issues that the next president is going to be challenged to deal with – and deal with in the interest of America and its citizens. Issues like war against terrorism (Islamic fascists): The President is going to have to correct some things, like admit that Muslims in America are infiltrating our educational system and through cells that are working with those that use violence as a means of subversion and submission. In some respects, the Crusades are returning – but Christianity and Islam are not fighting directly, it is secular governments fighting against Islamic extremists; it is nations of free people fighting against intruders who demand their “rights’ – but refuse to assimilate into the cultures they immigrate to – creating an act, series of acts and ideology of subversion of a free society.

First it was Huckabee and Romney battling it out in Christendom in the media, now it is rumors that Obama is a Muslim even though he attends a Christian Church and declares himself a Christian.

And within the Democratic Party, the two major candidates – Hillary and Obama – are using every political tactic they can muster to ensure one of them comes out the candidate against the GOP. Thus far, most of the shenanigans come from the Clinton camp, with Bill Clinton on a mission to ensure his surrogate, politically convenient wife gets elected – the former president may be more of a handicap rather than help.

However, the biggest controversy seems to be that Obama is not truthful as to where his loyalties lie and his ties to certain Islamic fundamentalists may exist. It doesn’t help when chain email circulates with these rumors and others that have no substantiating evidence to prove what is being circulated.

While Obama attempts to debunk such rumors, there are those like Debbie Schlussel who insists that she has

dug up more info that confirms my suspicions about Obama and his Muslim background, including his attendance at a Wahabbi (i.e. extremist Sunni) Madrassa (Islamic religious academy). Hillary’s camp says Obama is covering up his Muslim past.

If Schlussel has indeed uncovered information, using the political machine of the Clinton “camp” is not a good source. Debbie than goes on:

… His full name – as by now you have probably heard – is Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. Hussein is a Muslim name, which comes from the name of Ali’s son – Hussein Ibn Ali. And Obama is named after his late Kenyan father, the late Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., apparently Muslim. And while Obama may not identify as a Muslim, that’s how the Arab and Muslim Streets see it. In Arab culture and under Islamic law, if your father is a Muslim, so are you. …
As best-selling author Scott Turow wrote in Salon, Obama went to a Muslim school for two years in
Indonesia. His mother, Anna, married an Indonesian man …

Debbie insinuates that the second husband may have also been Muslim because that is the predominate religion in Indonesia, but this has been established elsewhere in commentaries and op/ed articles – but that is just a matter of checking marriage records. Schlussel:

So, even if he identified strongly as a Christian, and even if he despised the behavior of his father (as Obama said on Oprah); is a man who Muslims think is a Muslim, who feels some sort of psychological need to prove himself to his absent Muslim father, and who is now moving in the direction of his father’s heritage, a man we want as President when we are fighting the war of our lives against Islam? Where will his loyalties be? Is that even the man we’d want to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency, if Hillary Clinton offers him the Vice Presidential candidacy on her ticket (which he certainly wouldn’t turn down)?

In Bill Wilson’s Thoughts of a Conservative Christian blog, he writes:

Associated Press has revealed that Senator Barack Hussein Obama, Democratic candidate for President of the United States, attend a Catholic school in Indonesia registered as a Muslim, further clouding the issue of where Obama was schooled in Indonesia and when. Obama, by his own admission in books that he has written, has said that he attended a Catholic school and a Muslim school while living in Indonesia with his atheist mother and Muslim stepfather. But now that Fox News reported that Obama may have been indoctrinated in Islamic teachings while attending the Muslim school in Indonesia, he and his handlers have gone spinning the story to the news media, and their stories do not match up. …
There are many holes in Obama’s story. First, if he attended the Muslim school when he was seven and eight, which school did he attend when he was nine and ten, if he first attended the Catholic school? There appears to be a gap in his education or a miscommunication about what school he attended and when he attended it. Associated Press reports that Obama’s mother relocated to
Indonesia from 1967-71 after marrying Obama’s Muslim step-father – who Obama claims was no longer Muslim, but an atheist. The Catholic school, Fransiskus Assisis, where Obama first attended school, enrollment documents, however, show Obama enrolled as a Muslim, the religion of his stepfather.

Editor’s Note: No sources were referenced in the article above other than the Bible passage.

And it is all very odd that Obama’s mother, supposedly an atheist continually marries a Muslim (first Obama’s father and then step-father) – although they both disassociated themselves from their born religion.

Wilson asks:

What can Americans expect of a Muslim-educated Obama? AP writes of its interviews at the Muslim school in Indonesia, “Those tied to the school say they are proud to have had a student like Obama, and hope that, if he is elected president, his ties to Indonesia will broaden this world perspective and his views on religion.” Indonesia is home to some of the most radical Islamic schools in the world. And Obama’s identity is yet to be revealed as the confusing doubletalk hides the real Barack Hussein Obama, Democratic candidate for President of the United States.

Wilson ends with a passage from the KJ Bible, Jeremiah 9:5:

And they will deceive every one his neighbor, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.

The presidential primary candidacy has become a religious battlefield, so to speak.

ObamaAtPrayer_AP-JohnBazemore In American history, in tradition, Catholics didn’t get elected because of their faith and loyalty to the Pope in Rome. John F. Kennedy, Jr., broke that tradition. And, of course, he was a good president, loyal to America, its people and America’s allies or those who asked for its help. None of his policies demonstrated favoritism towards the Vatican.

But, the world has been changing. Indeed we now fight a global war that is strange and new to us in terms of its implementation by the enemies of the United States, enemies to the Christian religious peoples, enemies against Israel and the existence of the Jews as a people and nation, and enemies of all freedom loving nations around the world. It is an enemy that has no specific uniform or military structure and no specific nation – other than those rogue nations that support them. This enemy is once again, similar to the period we know as the Crusades, has entered the threshold of the Western world and endangers its very existence. The goals of Islamic “fundamentalists” – Islamic fascists – are clear: spread the religion of Islam, force people to convert or stand against cruel violent acts of mass murder. In between these violent acts cells of Islamic fascists work to undermine the traditions of democratic nations in order to incorporate Shia law and ultimately the caliphate that has ruled the Middle East, North Africa, parts of Asia and other regions of the world since the spread of Islam. Sound like a Tom Clancy novel or a conspiracy-seeking website?

In an article by Editor and Publisher, dated January 16th:

Fewer than half of Earth’s population live in places that can be called free – and the march of liberty worldwide reversed itself significantly in 2007, Freedom House reported Wednesday in its annual survey of global freedom. …
Liberty’s reversal was “most pronounced” in South Asia, but also covered a wide swath of the Earth, including nations of the Middle East, North and sub-Saharan Africa, and the former Soviet Union. … The full report, Freedom in the World 2008 is available here.
“However, the flawed response to an upsurge in immigration in
Europe and the U.S. has revealed potentially serious imperfections in these countries’ democratic systems, especially in Western Europe,” the NGO said. “Furthermore, they continued to grapple with problems posed by the continued threat of Islamic terrorism.” The United States was rated 1 on a 1 to 7 scale, with one being the most free.

Thus far.

This information ties in with the headlines one reads concerning Muslims who have integrated to the Western world – Europe and America. We find groups and organizations that have infiltrated into the community and the political infrastructure – as well as the educational system. Remember that recently it was announced that a California educational system was instituting the teaching of the Islamic religion and culture that included writing in Arabic. Sort of odd when the same school system forbid Christians to pray in public schools or have extracurricular activities that involved their religious practices and forbidding the pubic display of Christian religious symbols, carrying Bibles to school, and the Ten Commandments. The same crowd has also been part of the movement to remove the words “under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance, inserting by an act of Congress in the Eisenhower administration.

And looking at all of this in an objective and unbiased view – people who believe in one Supreme Being (for the most part) are fighting over religious doctrinal and ritual differences, more or less.

We are and have been a nation of religious tolerance for the most part. There have been periods of history that indicate prejudice against certain ethnic groups and/or religious choices, as well as vehement bias against those who do not have a religion – atheists. However, this tolerance has become a tool of the enemy of freedom and liberty. An enemy that pretends to immigrate and be part of our nation, when in fact they are creating pockets under the “multiculturalism” ideology that the American Left so encourage that, if watching the current events in Europe (like England), we can easily determine where this will lead.

I have said it before – we must not become intolerant or against the traditions that have made this truly the “land of the free”; however, we must not allow subversive agendas undermine our governmental system or reason our nation began in the first place. We must remain cool-headed and use logic over emotion. We must extend our hands in friendship, but retaliate if it is bitten. It certainly would help if we were a little more strict as to who may immigrate here, and it certainly would help if we rid America with those that have come here uninvited and broken our laws of immigration and documentation.

And, in regards of Mr. Obama – maybe it would be better to be safe and not elect another controversial person as the leader of our country. Haven’t we had enough with the likes of Bill Clinton and GW Bush? Both have had some good policies – but it has been sandwiched with controversy and distrust by too many American people.

In a time when the world seems to be crumbling around us, we need someone who is strong, savvy, and yet willing to extend the hand of diplomacy as long as the opponent accepts it in earnest.

History shows us that friends have become enemies and enemies have become friends in the world of diplomacy and foreign affairs. Let us not ever turn our backs on those who ask our help – especially those who wish to help themselves. John F. Kennedy believed this, and I believe that if he did not get assassinated, the Vietnam War wouldn’t have lasted as long as it did. Indeed, the general of the North Vietnamese army after the war confessed if it wasn’t for the demonstrations on campuses and in Washington and the help of the American media within the United States, the North Vietnamese communists would not have won.

Let’s not repeat the mistakes of history.

Let’s try our best to clear the political smoke from this primary election and the final election that follows and choose a President that has America and its citizen’s interests in the foremost of their mind – rather than any loyalties to a political, special interest, or foreign entity. And let us choose the candidate who is focused more on the issues rather than what they can dig up concerning their opponent. It is true that the American people should know someone’s background and true character – but we must ignore the mudslinging and keep focused on matters of reality and the candidate’s voting record and affiliations.

I think Mr. Obama is a bright and refreshing candidate of the Democratic Party, but because of the present world situation and our commitment that reaches back to the days of Thomas Jefferson to help others help themselves achieve some form of democracy and united against Islamic fascism – a “real and present danger”.

Maybe we should focus more on the “fall guys” – the candidates that are not popular with the media or the political clubs. It would be a move to show that the media and the political parties are no longer choosing our candidates for us.
