The Daily Mail, UK, reports some weird science news: Life On Mars? Amazing photos from NASA probe reveal image of mystery figure on Red Planet …
Images beamed back from Mars would suggest … although skeptics, it could just be a strange rock formation.
NASA’s Mars Explorer Spirit sent back images from the surface of the Red Planet four years ago, and there was initial disappointment among scientists that they lacked any signs of life. But space and science fiction enthusiasts are convinced there is more than meets the eye, and after years of studying images, have found what appears to be an alien figure walking downhill. … Rovers are deployed because it has so far been too costly and difficult to achieve a manned mission to Mars, and because probes and satellites are too limited to explore the Martian surface. The Spirit rover was launched on June 10, 2003.
It certainly looks like it is part of the rock formation, although the hues of colors don’t match the surrounding rock and the “figure” is darker. Wishful thinking? And what affect to all of this would occur if the asteroid destined to hit Mars, does so?

Bob McCarty Writes in an article, dated January 21st 2008 …
It’s not often that I cite anyone from Hollywood in this blog, especially for saying something profound and quoteworthy. Today, however, I quote legendary film producer Cecil B. DeMille and the words he shared at the opening of his blockbusting film, The Ten Commandments, in 1956:
“Man has made 32 million laws since the Commandments were handed down to Moses on Mount Sinai … but he has never improved on God’s law … They are the charter and guide of human liberty, for there can be no liberty without the law.”
…his words are worth repeating as Americans endure yet another tumultuous election year and endeavor to select the 44th President of the United States. Read more about DeMille in today’s edition of American Minute by William J. Federer.
