The Day of Fools is Here - And It’s Still Snowing …

April 1, 2008

foolmap I am not much of a fan for April Fool’s Day, probably because too many people play cruel jokes, which may be funny to them, but not the victims. For an example, the fool who devised the April 1st worm/virus. How would anyone think that funny?

However, I am all for humor, a reprise away from the reality of the world around us.

Global Warming Test and Science Snippets, April 1st 2008

April 1, 2008

Take a Global Warming Fact Test.

Donald Farr, Friend of LPJ:

proof-of-global-warming Many in power throughout the world are pushing “hard” for global warming to be accepted as an evil by-product of human civilization. They have chosen /partial truths/ about natural climate change – and manipulated this information to support a diabolical and deceitful political effort.
Why?
Power and Money.  This is an “enormous” opportunity for governments
all over the world to impose additional taxes, fees and penalties on
large and small corporations.  Ultimately, people of all nations – and
especially the American people - will be required to ‘pay’ for climate
change – for generations to come!!  It may be one of the greatest scams
of our time.  And I worry about our kids and grandkids ….
I really learned from the following test. It asks ten simple questions.
Immediately after selecting your answer for each question, it tells you
the correct answer and why - with verifiable, documented, scientific
information – not pop-culture fallacies.
If you “ truly read the answers to these questions”, you will stop
fearing global warming – and see that many of our political leaders have
used half-truths to generate FEAR for the sake of POWER and MONEY.
We don’t have to throw the tea into the harbor just yet. (That could
kill fish.)
But we have to get educated
.
