Maxine Waters Wants to Nationalize American Oil Companies

MaxineWaters_FoxNews-photo Of all the socialist agenda among the socialists, primarily located in California (Mexifornia) – Rep. Maxine Waters is probably the most outrageous. Watch the video and hold on to your seats because you are going to witness the grilling of oil executives in the manner that anti-corporate socialists are good at. The end result is taxpayers’ funding wasted – because there isn’t any conspiracy of the oil companies nor on the part of oil executives. It is a socialist created propaganda that has gone on far too long in America (and Europe) and is due to be laughed off stage by citizens of the world who are too educated to swallow the rhetoric propaganda of the socialized radical left.

Arcane Bliss, Newsvine, reports …

JeneaneGarfalo_AnEmbarrassment_Salute No official news stories about it yet [I don't like to rely on Fox News], but the blogosphere is catching on fire. The New York Times has a tiny bit on it. “At another point, Ms. Waters brazenly suggested that perhaps the American oil industry should be nationalized, acknowledging that it was an “extreme step” but one that might be necessary if outsize profits and exorbitant gasoline prices continued.” … This obviously worked out for southern Venezuela, right?
It’s downright disgusting. However, it’s not entirely surprising, considering she is pretty radical in her politics
.
Befitting the catastrophic stupidity of this idea, she doesn’t even know what the proper term for it is. I’m sitting here telling myself that Shep and the Foxies must have taken this out of context somehow since it would seem rather newsworthy and yet there’s not a single article about it on the wires that I can find. Go figure. But here you go, one of the most alarming collectivist ad libs by a mainstream American politician since the last creepy thing Hillary said, whatever that may be. Viva Chavez!”

Will someone please replace this woman in 2008 with someone who understands the concept of the Constitution and abides by its laws and amendments?

  1. Nationalization of Natural Resources in North America, (OIL)

It is now time for the current US Congress to draft a law that will authorize the use of the Armed Forces of America to seize control of all Oil reserves, assets, and property within the borders of the United States of America. Americans are suffering financially because of the profiteering that is being sanctioned by the current Congress. The very survival of America will depend on the controls and relief to the consumer. By controlling the oil and refining process, the final price to the consumer can drop back to levels in the two digit margin, i.e. 39 cents. It is now a matter of National Security that this happen within a very short period of time, or every American will suffer the financial burden of out of control price per gallon for fuel, thus driving up every consumer product and service beyond the affordable means of an average income American.

The American Republic will recommend that the current US Congress and President be held accountable for this “crime against Humanity” as well as numerous others.

It is time to fire the US Congress and President, now and in November, 2008. A new Republic for North America is underway.

We are a Legion of many, who will live a life of peace, and have respect for all living things, while having considerations for those who are different, and look for ways to truly accommodate those who are slow in understanding.

We support the poor, helpless, and defenseless people. We support the freedom of Women, we support the sane treatment of animals and the environment, we support the freedom of religion and expression. We do not support ignorance, period.

We are a growing nation of people that encourage anyone or Nation anywhere to become part of the New American Republic!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and information.
History teaches us that governments and nations should not give the military that much power. What needs to be done is to encourage Americans to quit voting for the same folks and/or the same type of folks to run our affairs in Congress. It is ironic that the same people who want change continue to vote for the same people and retain them in office – for life. Case in point, Ted Kennedy, as well as others.
Actually another law is not the answer, there are too many useless laws/legislation on the books. What needs to be done is to limit the government’s intrusion on matters best left to the people and society. Case in point would be the movement against America being oil independent. The Alaskan governor featured a referendum to ask the voters in Alaska to vote for or against the ANWR oil reserve being tapped. The majority wanted it and the Congress voted against it. Oil is a commodity. When oil companies are having difficulties meeting the demand, the price goes up. America can still safeguard its natural resources and environment and still be self sufficient. This is a national security concern. We could use Norway as a good example.

  3. What its actually time to do is to reform the congress by changing the people who are elected in it. I wouldn’t be for the military taking over any industry in the United States. That would be called martial law and a distinct and deliberate dissipation of your individual liberties to pursue life, liberty and happiness. Lets be real about this. The oil companies pay a nice fee for those leases where they are drilling on Federal Lands. The Federal Government is benefiting from it through the pass through entities known as the Oil Companies. This is why so many people blame the oil companies instead of the Congress. What is the actual goal of this? There are two. Clean the environment, which God knows we can get the oil in a way that won’t affect the environment in a negative way. And secondly, our congress has a responsibility to defend this country and energy independence is key in achieving that. This Democrat lead Congress is in complete denial of who our enemies are and the President is a complete moron on the issue. Sad to say it, but Americans have become stupid by choice and its a big problem. I’m talking about every single person, but there were 60 million of em who voted for Obama in November of 2008 on false premises, that even most of them who voted for Obama knew. Remove the Congress and vote for a different President in 2012. Its not too late, but it will be if we the people don’t stand up and vote!

It wouldn’t be the military that takes over, but the government, in fact during the GW Bush administration there was a nationalization taking place. And correctly, government bureaucracy comes out of it with funding, as far as the oil companies. Just look at how much of that price per gallon of fuel goes to the government and then the politicians want you to believe that oil companies are gouging you. The last time I checked, government gets 48-cents on the dollar. If you won the lottery (big) the government would be taking 50% of that money that you won. Government is supposed to be supported, but it has become a parasite – it produces nothing, and wasn’t meant to. Be suspicious of any politician who tells you that government will supply jobs. President Obama recently stated that Americans don’t have to worry about jobs leaving American and going overseas, because his green plan will supply green jobs. Green jobs?!? Wasn’t it part of the campaign rhetoric about jobs going overseas because of the Republicans? Because of GW Bush? And didn’t they say they would rectify this. Now President Obama says this is good for Internationale trade. Huh? We can drill oil from the bounty of America – and do so cleanly. Does anyone think the oil companies want it any other way? It takes funding from profits if there is an oil spill – it wastes crude oil and they are responsible to clean up the mess. Too many Americans are out of touch with reality, this is why politicians and others environmentalist wackos can boondoggle so many people – with the help of the media.
I certainly degree that energy dependence and national security go hand-in-hand.
    Thanks for stopping by …
