ron_paul_desk They won’t let presidential candidate Ron Paul have the floor during the Republican National Convention (RNC), so he’s found his own. And it is an historic floor at that. The maverick Paul has booked Williams Arena on the University of Minnesota campus for Sept. 2. The event, billed as a “mini-convention,” will occur on the second day of the RNC in St. Paul.

The Lieberman-Warner Act is Dead – For Now

The spin coming from the Left camp concerning the climate-carbon rip-off proposed legislation called the Lieberman-Warner Act, of which if I were a senator would be embarrassed to have my name attached to such a bill.

After Senate Democrats fell 12 votes short of the number needed to invoke cloture to end debate over the Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act and move to a vote earlier today, Senator Lieberman (I-CT) issued a press release boldly proclaiming victory. “Today 54 members of the United States Senate, including 9 Republicans, demonstrated their desire to move forward with the Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act,” Lieberman’s press statement said.
