Constitution_Amendment-1 Constitutions must be read and interpreted in plain English. It is plain English that states that all state laws must be made pursuant to the Constitution of the state and all federal laws must be pursuant to the Constitution of the United States. Therefore, any state that disallows any American citizen from owning a firearm, possessing a firearm, or carrying a concealed firearm for self defense, defense of property, life and the protection of others is UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

Rebuttal: "Was the World a Safer Place During the Cold War?"

Sandie Seward, UK self-styled “citizen journalist” blogger, wrote an interesting article sharing her thoughts, which also mirrors some unfounded ideology – Was the World a Safer Place During the Cold War?

F-161_Israeli-Soufa I think it was, because at least we knew our “enemy” in those days. Our “enemy” was Communism, pure and simple. It was “Us” and “Them.” The U.S.S.R. was the group of Communist States who were opposed to our way of life in the West.. We had spies, they had spies. We had armies, they had armies, we had a Navy. They had a Navy. We had Nuclear submarines, and so did they. Missiles, and Nukes, pointed at our major cities and establishments. Our Nukes pointed at theirs. Nobody was going to be the first to push the button, because we both knew that to do so would have been an act of suicide for Humanity.

While it is true that there are aspect concerning the global war against Islamic extremism and Islamic fascism that is not only horrifying, but seemingly more horrific and discerning to the general public – but the threat of global nuclear war that was a major part of the Cold War cannot be ignored.
