Myth Blaster: Further Evidence to Debunk Global Warming Hoax
LP Journal’s Myth Blaster has determined a long time ago that the Global Warming scare is nonsense. Here are some more updated details.
Dr. William Campbell Douglass, M.D., wrote a report entitled The Cold Truth About Global Warming. Here are come excerpts:
Try as you may, there’s no escaping the doomsday warnings of the global warming activists. … But if the media and Al Gore have you worried sick about global warming, take my advice: Ignore them! …the truth is, the global warming threat is nothing more than a carefully planned scare tactic by greedy politicians looking to take over the world by filling you with fear and distracting you from the real threats to you and your loved ones. And at the root of it all is the United Nations. After all, the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is one of the leaders in the effort against this non-existent threat. …
To be sure, there are legitimate scientists and researchers who ascribe to the theory. And I’m sure that climatologists are both stunned and excited that their discipline has actually become sexy and high-profile over the last 10 years. But no one bothers to point out that there are just as many legitimate scientists and researchers who think global warming is a bunch of hooey. …
I don’t know if you remember this or not (I know I didn’t), but a little over 30 years ago many scientists were stirring up fear of global freezing. On April 28, 1975, Newsweek printed an article called “The Cooling World.” Here’s a quote from the article: “The central fact is that after three quarters of a century of extraordinarily mild conditions, the earth’s climate seems to be cooling down…If the climatic change is as profound as some of the pessimists fear, the resulting famines could be catastrophic.” So what ever came of the global cooling crisis? Nothing-because there was no crisis. …
I was looking over a few of the global temperature graphs put together by climatologist Cliff Harris and meteorologist Randy Mann. They noted that in the last 4,500 years, there have been as many as 75 major temperature swings. They also pointed out what I find to be a very interesting tie between volcanic eruptions and the temperature of the earth: Whenever a major volcanic eruption occurs, the earth’s temperature plummets. Since 1991, we’ve had very little volcanic activity so, statistically, we’re due for some. …
You won’t hear about this in any mainstream media, but there’s new evidence that Al Gore’s “rapidly disappearing” polar ice cap has made a remarkable comeback. According to statistics from the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, polar ice cap levels that had shriveled to just 4 million square kilometers by January of 2007 are now back up to their original level of 13 million square kilometers. According to scientists, the northern hemisphere is in the midst of one of its coldest winters in decades, and snowfall has reached a record level that hasn’t been seen since 1966. Last winter, central and southern China experienced crippling snows that brought much of that vast country to a halt for days on end. There was even snow in the Middle East, of all places. …
The doctor is correct. Every clear thinking American who doesn’t want to have those who run our government gain more power over our lives, as well as don’t swallow the global warming nonsense must write to President Obama, the Speaker of the House and their representatives and state senators to put a stop to this sham. If you don’t, certain elements of society will make money at the people’s expense and the government will find yet another way to increase the tax base and thus produce more money to waste.

Mother Earth is giving the New Orleans Police Department one heck of a workout. First it was Hurricane Katrina and now its record snow. And its all due to the Global Warming Hoax. …
Apparently there is a big scandal brewing at NASA.
Dr. Theofor Landscheidt believes that the Earth is going through a cooling phase – not a warming one, but at least he is not preaching that the “sky is falling”.
According to The Global Warming Hoax website:
The official position of the World Natural Health Organization in regards to global warming is that there is NO GLOBAL WARMING! Global warming is nothing more than just another hoax, just like Y2K and the global freezing claims in the 1960’s and 70’s were. Global warming is being used to generate fear and panic. Those behind this movement are using it to control people’s lives and for financial gain. There are not a lot of individuals, groups, or organizations willing to stand up against this fraud that is being perpetuated for fear of being persecuted, harassed, and ostracized by those that support global warming the scientific and other communities. But fortunately, a few have decided to do the right this and take a stand against this evil, proving just how unscientifically sounded global warming is and exposing those who are behind it. …
We have read how many species are going extinct because of “global warming”. What they fail to tell anyone, especially the media, is that 200 new species have been found. Maybe they were created by “global warming”?
Maybe the record snow fall this year here at the Peninsula is because of global warming as well, not to mention that there is a heat wave when temperatures reach the teens in the past few weeks, with occasional night dropping down to -40 degree with the wind chill. Brrr. C’mon climate warming!
The following photo was sent by Verna, Friend of LPJ taken in Ontario, Canada recently – and they are closer to the Arctic than we are here on the Peninsula …

Does that look like the arctic ice is melting causing Gore’s perceived “Water World“?

Aside from not using the issue of global warming to ponder to what extent the media
Have you ever considered that global warming is one part, however small or large, of the much larger issue of Human Impact, the negative impact humans are having on the environment? Even if the globe was not getting hotter and global warming was not happening and being driven by human activity, the factors related to global warming would still be a very BIG problem. Man is contributing to global warming by burning fossil fuels and cutting down forests, problems that have implications outside of temperature changes. Both the forests and fuels we are consuming cannot be replaced during our lifetimes; they have been formed over millions of years, more years than mankind has seen and probably will ever see. The biodiversity (plants, animals, fungi, micro-organisms) living in these forests are the fine-tuned product of millions of years of evolution through natural selection and also cannot be replaced during our lifetimes. Aside from preserving this biodiversity for moral and aesthetic reasons, there are practical reasons we should not be disturbing these “pristine” environments. We have taken advantage of this biodiversity, which we use for pharmaceuticals, crops, fibers, and other products that help sustain our lives, in very small ways and we know only have named, let alone studied, a tiny fraction of it. We depend on the environment in so many ways and if we were to calculate just how much the environmental services such as bees pollinating, water cycles, and so on benefit man we would arrive at an almost incalculable figure. We need plants and animals, they do not need us. People who are against global warming seem to have no idea whatever how man functions in an ecosystem. Ecosystems are delicate and the species that exist within them live in a harmony achieved over millions of years and rarely disrupted by events like volcanoes and so on. Man, however, is QUICKLY changing these delicate ecosystems and disrupting them; unlike all species, man does NOT exist in harmoniously within various ecosystems. The SPEED at which man is changing ecosystems and introducing unnatural amounts of Co2 into the ecosystem is the most alarming part. Whether we are introducing a wild species into these ecosystems or unnatural amounts of Co2 or Nitrates and so on, we are profoundly negatively affecting the environment and ourselves in the process. This is all not even to mention how C02 is related to smog and a variety of human health problems, how the use of automobiles is related to consumption patterns between the richest and poorest countries, the problem of human population and the related problem of how countries use their resources, and so on…. all of this is related to global warming, especially human population, but you do not get this nuanced approach to global warming from the media or anti-global warming conspiracy theorists, instead you get short term answers where long term solutions are needed. Global warming is not hoax but the issue has been distorted by all sides of the issue, and I am not saying that I have all the answers, but if you do the research you will see how there are larger problems we must address that global warming is related to (perhaps the problem of how to deal with issues such as “global warming” when saying the very word evokes certain emotions in people and so on).
Joe:
You need to read (try using the links) to read the CO2 reports in a separate scientfic study, and you will find (if you review your high school science textbook) that it is beneficial to plant life, and in turn, plant life is good for animal life. Once upon a time, dinosaurs roamed the Earth in great numbers and variety, to include larger than present day plant species, as well as tropical areas that are now desert. Guess what? Humans were no where to be found. Who is to blame? There is so much more against the concept of global warming, and if the political left was so sure it was based upon fact, why have they changed the terminology to “climate change”.
Yes, we must be responsible concerning air and water pollution. I and others have presented the reasons why Al Gore and his crowd are so fired up for everyone to go along with this – despite their hypocrisy of living in homes with BIG “carbon footprints” (just love these little political ‘Greenie’ catch-phrases), they want the rest of the world to fall for their money-making scheme in terms of carbon credits, et cetera. We’ve been through this junk science alarmist stuff before – hairspray causing depletion of the ionosphere. The periodic ‘holes’ still appear in the atmosphere after millions and billions of dollars was spent against aerosol changes and completely changing the air conditioning system gasses. No one speaks of it anymore, not because the problem was solved, but because the problem never existed. Those pockets of ionosphere ‘open spots’ are natural occurrences.
If there will be global warming, it will be caused by our star we call the Sun. Another point made by non-junk scientists and meterorologists.
Joe, this is an older article – you really need to read more up-to-date stuff here and elsewhere. Al Gore and his scammers need to get laughed off the world stage.
With the help of the media and cooperation of unscruplous politicians, people like you are being duped – and all the while the economy of our nation and others is failing. Apparently you haven’t examined the real statistics and annual data report – the earth is actually cooling! And, doesn’t high school science demonstrate that CO2 is a cooling gas?
I would be much more afraid of another ice age than a warming period. In an ice age, plant life does not flourish, and the ecosystem you are concerned about dies. Unless nations begin to build huge greenhouses – our species will starve to death. How’s that for an alarming, ’sky is falling’ picture of what is yet to come?
The major problem we have to address is to rescind the awards given to Al Gore and laugh the clown off the stage of the world, and start insisting upon real science and scientists doing what they are supposed to be doing without the attached social stigma, publicity hounds, and people going off half-cocked without sufficient data.
And, truly, if global warming or global cooling occurs, what can humans really do about it? Do we have the techology to change weather patterns that are in cycles and experience periodical changes?
We need clean air and we certainly need clean and plentiful water sources, but let’s be logical about it all and quit listening to the Green fanatics and those out to make a buck off their naive ideology.
Keith:
You need to understand that high global temperatures are not inherently destructive to ecosystems. The reason for concern over global climate change is simply the rate at which temperatures are rising. Rising temperatures could help life on Earth to flourish, but only if temperatures increase over very long periods of time, allowing most species to adapt and therefore survive. Sure, global temperatures have been much higher (and lower) in the past. Try finding some evidence of temperatures changing as rapidly as they are today through natural processes (Well, volcanoes and impacts from extraterrestrial objects exempt). Additionally, I encourage you to take a look at the other misinformation spread by Dr. William Campbell Douglass. He is not a climatologist, and isn’t even respected among other medical doctors.
I would also like to point out that the first Joe is much more well mannered than Keith, and has better grasp on the English language.
Joe 33:
Thanks for sharing your thoughts …
First, this article you are commenting upon is not the first article on this subject – I have already pointed out that warming eras have occured (along with cooling periods), and in this article mentioning when dinoaurs roamed the Earth.
Second: The whole point about the global warming theory turned hoax is that the original climate model and data was off the mark. Temperatures recorded since all of this fuss about fossil fuels, et cetera, (actual temperature fluctuation) does not correspond to claims from the global weather/climate alarmists and the sheep that follow them. There has been NO “rapid” temperature change. You must have missed the National Geographic edition that demonstrated another factor in any extreme changes – which actually began with a study of Mars. Lifeless worlds (prolific life) like Mars has experienced a cooling of the planet center. The magnetic protection from the Sun (star) and its constant barrage of energy blasts has lessened in the south Atlantic area of the Earth. Scientists found out why – the magma is changing at Earth’s core – the very element that retains magnetic fields around the Earth like a protective shield, invisible, but there. It was quite an interesting episode, too bad you missed it. No real change from this affect is expected for at least 1,500 years; but in the meantime, since scientists are now more aware and understand more about it, they are monitoring it. At this point, there seems nothing can be done, except the idea of creating a human-made magnetic shield in place of the present natural one.
I have already “found” my evidence – links posted here and at other articles covering this subject – where are your sources backing up your rebuttal? The rule here is: if you disagree, post your sources.
Your comment about the “first Joe” being more well mannered than “Keith” – which is the author and publisher of this e-journal is your opinion.
As far as your critique upon my “grasp on the English language” – consider this:
You put down Dr. Douglass because he is not a climatologist and “isn’t even respected among other medical doctors” – which makes me wonder if you are an English professor? I wrote the article and I am NOT a climatologist, scientist or medical doctor. What is your point? You have provided no credentials, no sources of your “facts” or reference to anything to back up your rebuttal – and then discount Dr. Douglass because he is against something you believe in.
Presently we have a government, people running it, who seem not to have a problem with this global warming nonsense. The gist of the issue is the “climate change caused by humans” – and that hasn’t withstood true scientific examination. The cap-and-trade is nothing but a government scheme to generate more revenue that politicians waste and overspend. Many people are concerned about air and water quality. Unfortunately, there are powerful organizations who use the Green movement to generate revenue, and they will alter data and do just about anything for people to follow their movement.
Thanks for taking the time to comment and visiting, but please … if you are going to disagree with someone, you must provide your source of information. Any university professor would give you a failing grade for your take on this subject because of lack of sources. I didn’t seem to have a problem with my “English” when I wrote papers for submittal to professors at the universities I attended. The “language” of text here is informal. The idea is discussion and presentation, and in this case, trying to point folks toward alternative information, based upon real data, not just what the mainstream media writes, or what Al Gore and associates are pushing, or what elected officers of our government (and others) advocate, not in the name of science or protection of the human species – but what is on the table of their own agenda. I have provided suggested reading in this article and others on the same subject (see subject category menu) here at LPJ.
I didn’t think I was being “rude” to the first Joe, but then again, you probably think I am rude, despite the fact your commentary is based upon unsubstantiated opinion. Global warming theory has gone from a scientific examination to a consensus and political and investment tool for some. Once there was a consensus that the Earth was flat, despite ancient thinks like Aristotle writing otherwise. People should, and rightly so, expect scientists to be responsible researchers and not create an atmosphere of politically motivated legislation that is going to waste more of the taxpayers’ dollars and gouge businesses. In the last ten years, the data reveals that the United States has been a leader in cleaning up and keeping our air and water quality closer to where it should be. Human activity does have impact upon Earth – but it is not as fragile as some claim. I was in Kuwait for the liberation campaign and witnessed the worst polluting incident in world human history, caused by late Saddam Hussein, where the skies were dark as evening in the middle of the day. It was horrible. It seems that the media wasn’t as critical as they should have been, and not as outspoken about the impact upon the region and other spots in the world because of the wind currents as they are with this global warming movement. Just an added thought.
Have a nice day.
PS – Editors at Townhall and Green Bay Gazette didn’t seem to think I needed a “better grasp of the English Language”.
