Kritter Girl

Kritter Girl -

aka “Dog Whisperer”, aka Sharon Lehman, aka Witchy Woman

S. Lehman, known around Door Peninsula as Kritter Girl is the author of the WordPress blog site – Kritter Korner and unlike some copycats, “Kritter Korner” has been around since 1999 as part of Lighthouse Patriot Journal (formerly “Keefer’s Korner“) and was taken over by Kritter Girl as her site that promotes her interest and love of animals – “critters”. I officiate as her editor and occasionally a guest writer on her blog as well.

Kritter Girl is a nationally certified Pharmacy Tech, Vet Tech and an avid fan of Caesar Milan, the nationally known dog trainer of pets and pet owners, featured on Animal Planet. He is called the Dog Whisperer. Sharon is also known around the Peninsula as the Dog Whisperer – as evidenced when the cashier at the local Dollar Store announced that she was Kritter Girl the Dog Whisperer to a fellow employee.

And, since Kritter Girl has moments to vent, as we all do, she changes hats and becomes Witchy Woman at Venting Volcano. Something getting your goat? Send Witchy Woman your venting prose and the editor (me) will proof, edit, post it. Sharon enjoys Halloween festivities, dressing up for a Halloween party – so the avatar she chose fits that interest as well. She dressed Alan (son) as a pirate for Pirate’s Day (Sep. 19th), and so well one would think he was kin to Jack Sparrow.

Sharon is a grandmother to two little girls, Megan and Julia, daughters of Justin (son) & Katie. Sharon also is step-mom to my son, Alan, who has a shared interest in critters.

Other than critters, Sharon enjoys home cooking, especially around the holidays (much to Alan and my delight), as well as a classic car fan owning a 1965 Barracuda, as well as an avid fan of Jeeps. She drives around in a 1990 Wrangler with yellow flames, which she calls her “toy” – proving that guys aren’t the only ones who are in to “toys”.

Presently Sharon is employed at Pet Expressions, where she can be found greeting customers and dogs that customers bring by to visit. Whenever you visit the Peninsula, stop by and visit and say “Hello” to the friendly staff – Sharon (the tall brunette), Tara, Sandy, Diane or the owner, Verna – and your pets are welcome to visit as well and the staff always provide them with the doggie delight treats, that are so nutritious and healthy humans can eat them. No salt, no preservatives, no sugar – all natural ingredients.
